Reactivity

D-32 is an alkyl tributyl ketoxime silane. Tributyloxime group is hydrolyzable,so it is readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture.

In the presence of a (tin) catalyst these silanes react with hydroxyfunctional silicone polymers; exposure to moisture results in the formation of crosslinked, elastomeric silicones.

Application

Be used as a cross-linking agengt for oxime RTV-1 sealant..

D-32 can be used as a crosslinker for one component neutral curing silicone sealant. It is usually the main choice of oxime RTV-1 sealant crosslinker. It can be used alone or in combination with other oximisilanes to provide desired properties (such as cure rate, adhesion, etc.).

Precautions

During actual storage (the seal is not opened), crystallization at the bottom of the barrel may occur when the ambient temperature is below 0°C. Check whether there is crystallization before use. If crystallization has occurred, it cannot be used directly. It is recommended to bake it before use. It may turn yellow when stored above 35℃ for a long time. Please store it in a suitable warehouse and stock up properly.
